Manhattan Gastroenterology is a reputable, rapidly growing medical practice with multiple locations that is looking for a practice outreach coordinator/to join our dynamic team. You will be managing the organization’s business development and marketing strategies with existing and new referral sources. You will be reporting directly to the CEO/Medical Director and the Director of Operations and will have an opportunity to directly see your impact on the organization while overseeing revenue and acquisitions.

The candidate should be highly motivated, and results and metrics driven with a focus on reporting. They can work autonomously and enjoy having the responsibility and pressure of meeting performance targets. We are looking for someone who is constantly improving and staying ahead of the competition and is a team player!


Goals:

  • Creating new referral relationships

  • Maintain flow of current referral relationships

  • Facilitating referrals from all sources (email, emr, direct calls, etc) in efficient and prompt manner

  • Monitoring and Reporting on Metrics for patient Flow as a result of efforts

  • Creating Networking events (lunches, talks) to increase reach to community

  • Establishing rapport with our current GI physicians individually so as to facilitate relationship with referring providers and facilitating meetings

  • Ensuring direct and concierge access from referral sources to our practice

  • Facilitate sending reports/consultation notes from our physicians to outside physicians

Job requirements

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in Business Development and Marketing Outreach

  • Primary responsibility is to foster and expand network of current and potential referral sources for our growing practice

  • Door to door marketing experience is a must and ability to research and canvass potential referral sources in the area and secure introductory and follow up meetings

  • Coordination and outreach events (lunches, dinners, lectures) to be scheduled and optimized

  • Creating and coordination of office marketing materials reflecting practice’s interests

  • Maintain relationships with already established referral sources

  • This important role will be the face of our practice and is expected to carry themselves in a manner that reflects interests and values of the Practice

  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment

  • Ability to multitask in a deadline driven atmosphere with a focus on growth, metrics, and a value-add approach

  • Able to provide regular reporting and feedback to management
