Job Summary:

As a part-time or full-time Accounting Assistant at Manhattan Specialty Care you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. You will work closely with the accounting team to perform various tasks related to accounts payable and general accounting duties. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.


  • Process accounts payable invoices and expense reports accurately and in a timely manner. 
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure accuracy. 
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor and customer records. 
  • Scanning documents and file maintenance. 
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting-related inquiries and discrepancies.
  • Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records, including journal entries and general ledger postings. 
  • Assists with audits as needed with compiling of back up and response

Job requirements


  • 1-2 years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in a corporate setting. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar). 
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping. 
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. 
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices. 
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information
