Job description
A high end medical office is seeking an experienced Human Resource Generalist, responsible for supporting the CEO and management team in administrative, operational, and strategic endeavors. This role encompasses the full spectrum of HR responsibilities, collaborating closely with the organization to drive strategic initiatives. As the HR generalist, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the organization's human resources landscape through strategic planning, policy implementation, and program evaluation. The candidate will report directly to the Director of Operations for the practice.

Responsibilities
Recruitment:
· Assist with the recruitment of staff by posting positions using various platforms such as Indeed, Recruitee, LinkedIn, ect.
· Scheduling in-person meetings, managing the I-9 process; completing pre-hire background checks, processing all new hires and any employment related changes.
Provider Credentialing:
· Works with the Director of Operations to manage the credentialing process so that new providers and other credentialed staff (e.g. nurses) are able to on-board smoothly and function in the capacity for which they were hired.
· Manages the reappointment process every year with a focus on adherence to deadlines.
Onboarding/Off-boarding
· Communication with new hires and departments to ensure smooth onboarding experience.
· Creation of ADP new hire/re-hire profiles
· Benefit Management and explanation
· Workforce health file management
· Scheduling training and continuing education
Payroll Processing
· Oversee the department's preparation and processing of payroll using ADP TOTAL SOURCE and management of time-off tracking.
· Process any employment related (i.e. updating position numbers, verification of wage increases, or reclassifications; leaves of absences and terminations)
Compliance
· Track and ensure compliance concerning I-9 processing, Annual Training, Influenza Program, , HIPPA Training, Conflict of Interest, Medical Surveillance, OPMC, NPDB, etc.
· Assists with preparing quarterly reports for health plan submission
· Serve as a reliable point of contact for employee concerns, maintaining a harmonious work environment
· Other duties as assigned
Job requirements
Preferred Qualifications
• Certification (SHRM, Labor Relations, HR, etc).
• Degree in Human Resources or related field.
• Healthcare and or Academic Medicine experience.
• Human Resources experience preferred.
• Must be resourceful, organized and detail and task oriented with the ability to establish priorities and follow up on multiple issues in a time-sensitive manner.
• Skilled at working under pressure and with minimal supervision and sound independent judgment required.
• Ability to exercise a high degree of professionalism, diplomacy, discretion, firmness, and collaboration in dealing with individuals at all levels.
• Strong analytical and tenacious problem-solving skills necessary.
