Job Title: Senior Construction Project Manager

Location: NYC Office- 121 West 27th Street

Reports to: Ownership/Project Executive

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Salary: $140-$200K

Bonus: Performance Based Bonus in conjunction of evaluation of project metrics

Provide leadership and oversight for the day-to-day operations for all Construction, Project Management and Project Administration activities associated with 2 renovation and development projects in Manhattan. Lead professional responsible for the overall performance and success of each project(s) including the project budget, project schedule, quality, safety and client relations. Manage Architects, Engineers, Consultants, Counsel and Neighbor Relations. Individual will oversee general contracting team and site construction managers on a continual basis in order to move project forward safely and efficiently in line with project schedule and budgeting. Individual will assist with coordination of all activities required to move the project forward in an efficient and cost-effective manner. Areas of responsibilities include:

  • Project Schedule Development
  • Management of efficient weekly team meetings
  • Compilation of Meeting Minutes
  • Management of Task Lists and Reminders for Team Responsibilities from Weekly Meetings and throughout in organized and reproducible fashion
  • Ensuring proper and up to date plan documents on site at all times
  • RFI Management and Processing with focus on deadlines
  • Oversight of daily work on premises
  • Collaboration with all team members to minimize inefficiency and downtime
  • Management of Submittals and Processing
  • Material and Equipment Procurement
  • Week and Two week look Ahead planning and coordination
  • Weekly summary reporting for ownership
  • Coordination of project mobilization and equipment needs in coordination with team to anticipate and perform needed work
  • Management of NCR’s and Quality Control
  • Contractor Schedules of Values and Applications for Payment
  • Change Order Requests and Estimation
  • Analysis of Requisitions by general contractor and assessment of completed work subcontractor requisition process including review, processing waivers of lien and approvals
  • Collaboration with neighboring properties or counsel to coordinate work needing to be completed
  • Estimating as necessary to evaluate change orders and requisitions of subcontractors
  • Bid & Award of Project

  • Ensuring compliance with all safety protocols


Four-year Construction Science/Engineering degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Industry Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experienc for the total execution of commercial construction projects is preferred.

Experience and knowledge of Commercial Construction, budgeting, means and methods, accounting, project administration, and a general understanding of industry practices.

Experience in the management of Project Support staff.

Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal and computer skills.

Must be honest and efficient and poses the ability to create and lead

Provide the action plan to the field team in order for the field team to complete the project on time, under budget
